
Brittany Ricketts
Board Member
Brittany is a family law attorney working in San Jose, California. In 2016, Brittany received her degree in Marketing, Communication, and Ethnic Studies from Santa Clara University. After graduation she spent a year of service with City Year, an Americorps program, working as a volunteer teacher in East Side San Jose. Brittany then returned to Santa Clara University to earn her law degree, graduating in 2020 with honors. During her time in law school, Brittany was involved in various clubs and activities such as La Raza, Women in Law, the Family Law Society and worked as an Academic Tutor and Mentor in the Academic Success Program.
Also during law school, Brittany studied abroad in Costa Rica, learning about International Human Rights law and spending time at the Inter-American Court of Human Rights. She also clerked for the Honorable James Towery at the Santa Clara Superior Court. Additionally, Brittany spent a majority of her time volunteering with various organizations such as the Domestic Violence Coalition, Record Clearance Project, and the Katherine and George Alexander Community Law Center. She also competed in the University's Honors Moot Court competition and served on the board during her 3rd year of law school. Brittany was then admitted to the State Bar of California in January 2021.
Brittany brings with her a strong passion to give back to her community and an unwavering commitment to help families navigate a complicated legal system during a difficult time in their lives. When not working, Brittany enjoys traveling, cooking and baking, playing board games, and practicing the guitar and drums.
