Barbara Clayton is a graduate of Santa Clara University School of Law with a Certificate in Privacy Law with Honors and earned the High Tech Law Excellence Award for 2020-2021. During law school, Barbara completed mediation training in addition to her J.D. required coursework. Prior to attending law school, Barbara earned an MBA from U.C. Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and a Data Science Certification from Johns Hopkins University.  Barbara has worked in high tech for over twenty years in the Bay area, specializing in ecommerce, advertising technology and privacy issues and has her CIPP/US and CIPT certifications from IAPP. She is currently a product manager at Google, focusing on privacy in online advertising.
